PRESIDENT YOWERI KAGUTA MUSEVENI MADE CHANGES TO HIS CABINET

President Yoweri Museveni Thursday made changes to his cabinet, bringing in army chief Gen Aronda Nyakairima as Internal Affairs minister.
In other changes, Mary Karooro Okurut moves to the Gender, Lbour and Social Development Ministry as John Nasasira goes to ICT, while Ruhakana Rugunda takes charge of Health.  Former Health Minister ONdoa becomes presidential adviser on Health.
Rose Namayanja takes over as Information and National Guidance Minister from Okurut. Hillary Onek, who was at Internal affairs Minister, is moved to Disaster Preparedness and Refugees.
President Museveni also appointed and transfered Permanent Secretaries. Keith Muhakanizi is new PS of Finance.

President Yoweri Museveni has Also transferred and appointed new Permanent Sectaries.

Long serving Education Ministry PS, Francis Lubanga, has been relocated to the Health Service Commission while Pius Birigirima formerly of the Office of the Prime Minister goes Gender, Labour and Social Development ministry.

Kabarole E-society centre is playing a significant role in as far as access to information and information sharing is concerned. The centre help the staff to access current information, related to Agriculture, governance and any other important information.

KABAROLE E-SOCIETY RESOURCE CENTRE ATTRACTS OVER 200 RESEARCHERS

Kabarole e-society resource centre that was re-located to the new district head quarters at Kitumba has attracted over 200 researchers within short period of time after the Re-location.
The centre plays a significant role in improving ICT skills to both the staff of Kabarole and the community surrounding the centre, Access to information is free to every body, free computer training and many other centre services to mention a few.
The ICt officer in charge of Kabarole E-society Centre Mr. ATEGEKA NICHOLAS said in his report that at least now there is great achievement on the centre usage.
the ICT officer noted that the ICT trainings have enabled may people to use online platforms such as Skype, twitter, face book and are able to read and send e-mails.

KABAROLE HAS LOST AN IMPORTANT PERSON



Brigadier Clovis Kalyebara, Uganda’s Military Attaché in Kenya, has died.


Brig. Kalyebara, 57, died Tuesday night at Nairobi Hospital. His close friend, Lt. Col. Steven Basaliza said Brig. Kalyebara was hospitalized recently.  

Before being deployed in Kenya by President Yoweri Museveni as a military attaché, three months ago, Brig. Kalyebara was the Commandant of the Military Academy, Kabamba, in Mubende District.

Brig.  Kalyebara once served as military attaché to the African Union in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and deputy Commandant of Senior Command and Staff College, Kimaka.

Brig. Kalyebara joined the army in 1979. He hails from Harugongo, Kichwamba Sub County in Kabarole District.

The UPDF and Defence Spokesperson, Lt. Col. Paddy Ankunda confirmed the death of the veteran soldier.
